This Is My Story

I wasn’t always confident in my career. Far from it.

Today, I’m a career coach who’s helped hundreds of Chinese professionals land six-figure offers and leadership roles in Western job markets.

I built a proven system that helped me rise to a director level at a global tech giant, secure offers from Google, Uber, Shopify, P&G, Doordash, and more...and now I’m sharing it with my candidates.

But my journey started much differently.

Born and raised in Canada to Chinese immigrant parents, I grew up hearing I wasn’t good enough. Like many, I was taught to downplay my achievements and focus on my flaws. Even after climbing the corporate ladder across companies like Uber and Shopify and landing a leadership role, I felt stuck, like I was playing it safe.

Everything changed when my girlfriend (now wife) was struggling to find a job after graduating, and I stepped up to help her. As a Chinese national, she landed multiple offers, and in the process, I realized how much I loved helping others build confidence and achieve their goals.

Since 2017, I’ve helped hundreds of clients transform their careers, landing top offers, discovering their superpower, and stepping into leadership roles. My clients often tell me, “I didn’t even know I had this achievement until you showed me. I feel like a superstar.” My career advice on Chinese social media has been viewed over 3 million times, and I have grown a following of 60k+. In 2024, I was named one of Xiaohongshu's Rising Influencers in the Career category.

In 2024, I quit my multi-six-figure job to focus 100% on coaching, and it’s been the most fulfilling work I’ve ever done. My career was once defined my making millions for corporations. Now it is guided by my goal to land $100 Million in offers for my candidates. In 2024, after 8 years of coaching, we broke past $50 Million, and we're just getting started.
